Payment Transactions

Credit Cards

We accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover. For your protection, we do not keep your credit card information in our system, it is all handled through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connections using our payment gateway, Authorize.Net.

You can shop at www.EverythingUpland.com online with confidence. We have partnered with Authorize.Net, a leading payment gateway since 1996, to offer safe and secure credit card and electronic check transactions for our customers. www.EverythingUpland.com is registered with the Authorize.Net Verified Merchant Seal program.

For credit card users: When placing a new order, our system will send an "authorize only" transaction to your credit card issuer. If approved, the order will be accepted by our system. This allows us to capture payment only when we know we can fulfill your order. The transaction will remain in pending status until the payment is captured. Most times this means we will capture payment at the time the order ships, meaning the order status has changed from "processing" to "shipped" (except for the purchase of dog boxes and special order merchandise where the payment will be captured when the "new" order goes into "processing" status). If you would like to cancel your order before an item ships, we will promptly void any payment transactions, except where the specific Terms & Conditions for a product state otherwise. All transactions will be batched once daily around midnight CT, and funds transferred once a successful capture is complete, the transaction should post to your account within 24-48 hours.


We also accept PayPal transactions for your convenience. If paying via PayPal, money will be transferred immediately from your PayPal balance, bank account or billed to the credit card on your PayPal account.

Paypal uses data encryption and anti-fraud technology to keep your information secure, reducing the risk of online fraud.

SPECIAL NOTE for Debit Card users:
Your bank may place a temporary hold on funds in your checking account from the moment the order is placed until the payment transaction with us is settled. This temporary hold may take up to 48 hours for successful settlement and release of the hold status. The hold status may be even longer for VOIDED transactions. Please understand that this is your bank's policy, not ours. Therefore, we highly recommend using a credit card rather than a debit card for online purchasing.

Stock Status

While we strive to keep our website up-to-date with current stock status, based on the number of items we carry, that can prove to be a full time job in itself. In an effort to bring you the largest selection of upland sporting gear, we stock many of our most popular items in-house but there are also a number of items that are shipped from our other warehouse locations around the country and therefore our website cannot track inventory quantities in those locations. This can sometimes result in products showing as available for purchase which are actually out of stock. In many cases, our out of stock status is only temporary and we can opt to keep your order on file and fill the backordered item when it becomes available. We will promptly notify you and work with you on alternate product options or cancel transactions and process voids or refunds.


Special Order Merchandise

Some of our merchandise is labeled as Special Order, meaning we do not generally carry these items in stock and there could be a shipping delay of 6 to 8 weeks or more. Special Order items are clearly labeled in the product description and must be acknowledged as Special Order at the time the item is added to your shopping cart. Special Order items can be canceled up until the item ships, but the refund will be assessed a 3% surcharge to cover payment processing fees.


Aluminum Dog Boxes

Our dog boxes are built to order at the manufacturer and shipped directly to you from that location. Payment is captured for all dog box orders at the point the box goes into "build" status. Dog box orders are put into production build within 48 hours of receiving, after that point changes or add-ons will not be allowed. Build time is usually less than 3 weeks, but may extend up to 5 weeks depending on time of year. Shipment is via location-to-location freight by carriers such as FedEx Freight, Holland, Towne Air, YRC, and others. Shipments to residentially zoned addresses are assessed an additional fee by the carriers, this option must be selected when the dog box placed in your shopping cart. Residential delivery locations misrepresented as commercially zoned on the original order will be assessed the additional residential delivery fee as a rebilled charge to the original payment method at the time of shipment.

Dog box orders can be canceled up until the dog box has shipped, however Owens Products assess a 25% restocking fee to do so. For dog boxes from all other manufacturers, a flat $50 cancellation fee will apply. This amount will be deducted from your refund. Once shipped, dog boxes cannot be returned.

When your dog box shipment arrives, you must completely remove your dog box from any shipping cartons and packing materials and fully inspect it for any damage. If an unacceptable amount of damage is found, please do the following:
    • Point out the damage to the delivery driver so he can note damages on the bill of lading.
    • REFUSE the shipment (it will be returned directly to the manufacturer at no additional cost).
    • Take photos of the damage.
    • Contact us immediately so that we can begin filing a damage claim and entering a replacement order for you with the manufacturer. Please include photos of the damage with your correspondence.
If you accept the shipment and sign for it, that means you are stating that the item was received in an acceptable condition and releases the carrier from any liability. This makes it impossible for us to go back to the carrier for reimbursement after the shipment has been accepted and received. It is YOUR responsibility to inspect your shipment and we cannot be held responsible if you sign for and receive a shipment that was damaged in transit. 

Sales Tax

Iowa state law requires that we collect 7% sales tax for all orders processed and shipped to an address within the state. We do not charge sales tax for any orders that are shipped outside the state of Iowa (IA).

Restricted Items

EverythingUpland.com sells items that are restricted by Federal, State and/or Local law. Anyone purchasing any of these items must be 21 years of age or older and may not be able to be shipped to your state. Examples of restricted items include but are not limited to ammunition and blank pistols as well as some gun cleaning products.

If you are purchasing ammunition or any other restricted items, you warrant that you have read this notice and that you are:

  • an adult over the age of 21 and
  • not under any legal disability that would preclude you from purchasing, owning, possessing or transferring the item or items you are ordering and
  • not living in a state that does not allow shipment of the restricted item to a delivery address within its borders.

For safety reasons, ammunition or any other restricted items cannot be returned.

Ammunition can only be sent to the 48 continental United States. Shipment is via UPS ground only.
