Shipping & Handling

 

FAST Delivery!  
Our standard methods of shipment within the continental United States are United Parcel Service (UPS) and the US Postal Service (USPS). UPS Ground Service is the default for all shipments but can be changed during the checkout process.

Orders placed during normal business hours of 9:00 am to 9:00 pm CST, Monday through Friday are usually processed and shipped within 1 to 3 business days (M-F). Customers should expect a 7-10 day delivery time (some acceptions apply like dog boxes, gun safes which are built to order and other larger/heavier items that must go LTL).  We will send you a Shipment Confirmation notice via e-mail, which will include the UPS Ground Tracking Number (when applicable) when your items are shipped so you are fully informed of the status of your order.

Backorders
If an item you have ordered is out of stock, we will notify you via e-mail that the item is on backorder along with an estimated arrival date to our warehouse. At that time you may opt to cancel your order by contacting Customer Service or you may wait for the item to be restocked into our inventory. Rest assured, our first priority is to fill our backorders, so when your item is back in stock, your order will be filled and shipped ahead of all other orders for that day. We will send you a Shipment Confirmation notice via e-mail when your order has been shipped.  

Shipping Charges 
Many companies charge you shipping fees based on the total dollar amount of your order, but we don't feel that's a fair way to handle our business. Our shipping charges are calculated based on actual product weight and dimensions using shipping calculators provided by UPS and USPS, so you will never be overcharged for shipping and we will never charge you an extra handling fee on standard items! 

Important Notes:

¤ We reserve the right to change the shipping method after an order is placed when a better alternative is available. In many cases, we may even refund shipping overage charges (if any) back to you if there is a significant difference in the cost.  If your item must ship by your selected method and nothing else is acceptable, please note that in the order "comments" section so that we can ensure your order is delivered the way you want.   

¤ Some items are shipped directly from our manufacturers and/or from the closest warehouse to help you save on shipping expenses. This may cause parts of your order to arrive in separate packaging and at different times and maybe even via different carriers.  Please allow additional time for delivery if you receive a package containing a partial order.

¤ Only DVDs, VHS tapes and Books can be shipped using USPS Media Mail. If that option is selected during checkout and the order doesn't qualify for that type of shipping, the shipping charges will be adjusted to the next lowest priced shipping method when the order is processed.

¤ Items which are large in size or are very heavy will require additional shipping charges depending on the size and weight of the shipment. Please e-mail us at sales@EverythingUpland.com for a shipping quote on oversized items if not already indicated in the item description.

¤ Due to distance, please allow 1-2 additional days for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii.

FREE Shipping 
We offer FREE Shipping on many of our top selling items! Orders must ship within the contiguous United States and we reserve the right to choose the best method of shipment on all orders that qualify for Free Shipping.

Reporting Damaged Items or Lost Shipments
If you received a package that was obviously damaged in shipment, refuse the item and do not sign for it.  Once you've signed and accepted a damaged parcel, we can no longer help you with the shipping company. Therefore, please do not sign for or accept obviously damaged shipments, only sign for items you receive with no visible damage. Damaged merchandise must be reported within 5 days and we'll arrange for reshipment of your item right away. We are not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.

Delivery Surcharges
There are many items in our store that are bulky and heavy and therefore require an extra handling fee. These items will be noted as having a delivery surcharge within the item description page. 

Freight Line Shipping (LTL)
Large or heavy items that cannot ship via UPS or USPS must ship via a Freight Line Service. Examples of these items would include dog boxes, gun safes, fencing, etc. Please allow extra time for delivery of these items of up to 4 weeks.

Orders shipped via Freight Lines to a residential address are delivered curbside. The Freight company will generally assess additional fees for a residential delivery and prefer to ship to your local receiving dock.
